Education is at the very heart of what we do at Hopethiopia. This is the best way the the next generation will suceed and become the next great leaders of this country.
Hopethiopia works alongside the local Kindergaten, elementary school, high school, and preparatory school and helps by providing equipemt, supplies, books, and training to the students. Hopethiopia was able to play an important role in helping to bring grades 11 and 12 to Harbu Chulule and now over 1500 students have graduated from grade 12 and have gone on to University. Many students have been sponsored in the local schools, as well as to higher level schools in Addis Ababa, and to national universities. Some students are in medical schools, engineering, social work etc. Also some teachers have been sponsored to receive their Bachelor's and Master's degree programs.
Hopethiopia has now opened their own Kindergarten project and has started with 60 three year old children. International visiting teachers and teams are also involved in bringing excellent additional training to the children and teachers.
