Hopethiopia has set aside a portion of the land to build a "Peace Garden" environment. This "botanical garden" area uses permaculture principles to help restore the land and to maximize its potential. The desire is to create a very biodiverse "park" where people will appreciate the natural beauty of their country, and to relax and enjoy life.
The Peace Garden project is slowly growing and the water conservation structures are making a huge impact on promoting growth of the land and trees.
