Ethiopia

The Hopethiopia project sites can be found in the town of Harbu Chulule, and Wolisso.

It is about a 3 hour drive from Bole airport in Addis Ababa. One will travel SW along the road through Jemmo, Alemgena, and Sebeta. Once you get to the “Total” gas station in Tulu Bolo turn left (south) and travel about 25km on a road that is under Construction.

Harbu Chulule can be viewed on Google Earth

The altitude of the Harbu Chulule is about 2424m or about 8,000 feet above sea level
