A few times a year Hopethiopia brings international dental teams to provide dental services to the local and zonal communities. These services are very gratefully received as dental care is an extremely rare service provided to rural communities. 

Over 20,000 people have been treated for dental care.  It is accepted that a national statistic shows that there are 50 Ethiopian dentists that serve a population of 60 million people in rural areas of Ethiopia. Hopethiopia has greatly added to the dental care. Hopethiopia dentists also train students and clinicians at the Atlas Dental College in Ethiopia. They bring students out to the project sites and work alongside them to provide upgraded skills and to teach new techniques t provide excellence in patient care.
